Spain: Zucchini season better than the last 10 seasons

This season, a first class green zucchini is on average better priced than in the ten previous seasons. This season the zucchini was 0.56 Euro per kilo, whereas in the last 10 years it was € 0.52 / kg, according to the price index of the regional Ministry of Agriculture of Andalusia.

The best price was in season 2004/2005, with 0.62 Euro per kilo, compared to 0.35 Euro / kg in the 2010/2011 season.

This season produced the fifth best price of the decade. In 2004/2005, the average price was € 0.62 / kg, in 2005/2006 and 2009/2010 this was 0.59 Euro per kilo.
