US: Bejo Open House and Demonstration Trials 2013 also for smaller home growers

Bejo Seeds will be hosting their Open House and Demonstration Trials August 27-28 in Geneva, NY. This annual event is an opportunity for Bejo to showcase a wide variety of quality vegetable crops at Bejo’s research and demonstration farm. In addition to trials, the two day event holds many attractions and activities.

For commercial growers, Bejo plans to feature large scale trials of Summer crops including onions, cabbage, broccoli and carrots. While the Home and Market garden trials give small market and home gardeners an opportunity to view vegetable varieties in a setting that is familiar. Even distributors including Johnny’s Selected Seeds, High Mowing seeds, and Seedway will have their featured crops and cover crops on display. Escorted tours by Bejo staff, retail produce display, food concept sampling by Karen Miltner, and an organic variety exhibit are among some of the activities planned. From commercial growers to home gardeners, there is a little something for everyone at the Bejo Seeds Open House event.
