AgriPort A7:

Geothermal heat can reduce gas consumption by 7 million cubic meters

In the last weekend of July, the geothermal well that was drilled in Agriport A7 six weeks earlier, was tested for the first time. This first well – another three are in the pipeline – will provide the greenhouse in Agriport A7 part of their heat demand. If this drill is successful, there will be an annual reduction in gas consumption of 7 million cubic meters.

Hot water will be pumped from a depth of 2500 meters. The temperature of the water is almost 90 degrees Celsius and comes upwards with about 200 cubic meters per hour.
