citrus and grenade grower steps into hydroponics:

Turkey: 18,5 ha modern tomato greenhouse in production

After investing in the agribusiness sector, Sural, which also produces citrus and grenades, has begun producing hydroponis cluster tomatoes in the region of Antalya A Manavgat on an area of about 185,000 m2, with plans to extend this by 127 000 m2.

Süleyman Süral, Group Chairman, emphasised the important of this culture and added that 90% of the production of 5,400 tonnes, is exported mainly to Russia, Turkish Republics, Germany, Hungary and Poland. The new production area that will produce the integrated cultivation of tomatoes next season is completely organic and is expected to reach 4,000 tons.

The greenhouse is build by Nassan Greenhouse Projects.
