Greece: Makedoniki releases Artis steamed carrots in vaccum pack
Makedoniki proudly introduces “Aristis” steamed carrots in vacuum pack. This new product was developed to enrich the “aristis” line with another nutritious vegetable option for consumers.
"After extended research we selected Nantes carrots and specifically the Vilmorin Concerto and Bolero hybrids for their excellent cultivating and sensory characteristics," said Loizos Symeou, Export Manager, Makedoniki.
"Our carrots are grown exclusively in Greece and our cultures are certified for ''Good Agricultural Practice" according to the GLOBAL G.A.P standards which guarantee that our vegetables are free of pesticide residues and other harmful substances. Also our company complies with the BS EN ISO 22000:2005 standards for total quality assurance."
The “Aristis” steamed carrot is packed in 400g pouches under vacuum and is commercially sterilised. The packaging and processing procedure is designed to protect and preserve the high nutritional value of the carrot.
The “Aristis” vegetable line also includes catering size products that can be custom made to meet clients’ needs.
