November will bring a new challenge for Ductch greenhouse builders from TC van den Dool. The greenhouse with an acreage of 5 hectares owned by the Van der Voort Brothers in 's-Gravenzande and is now 4.15 meters high, but it will be elevated to 5.85 meters. The job will take 5 weeks to complete.

Ad Kokshoorn and Vincent van den Dool

Ad Kokshoorn and Vincent van den Dool have many years of experience when it comes to building and adjusting greenhouses. They are confident about the technology behind the job. Cylinders containing compressed air will pneumatically push up the greenhouse. Section by section, the construction will be elevated to the desired height.

TC van den Dool is active all over the world. Their expertise has brought them to places like France, Canada, Russia, South Korea and the US. “France is an important place for us,” says Kokshoorn. “Our branch there is responsible for nearly 25% of our total turnover.”
