"Russia: "Moscow region harvests more than 22,000 tons of vegetables"

Over 22 thousand tons of vegetables have been produced by the greenhouses of the Moscow region by May 11, 2018, informs the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

“As of today the greenhouses of the Moscow region have harvested more than 22 thousand tons of vegetables. Last year such a quantity was grown only by July”, mentioned the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Moscow region, Mr. Andrey Razin.

He reminded that this year they are planning to launch greenhouses with an overall acreage of 80 ha. In the whole of 2017, more than 35 thousand tons of vegetables were harvested.
