Because Açı Fide believes it is important to keep growing with the future, they also participated as a tester during the development phase of the Hortimax Pro App. Before the app, greenhouse checks, such as regular checks on temperature, humidity and fertilizer conditions, were more manual and time bound.
Now, the app provides a continuous overview of whether greenhouse values remain within predefined targets. With the app, Açı Fide can now follow the greenhouse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and receive notifications when values move too high or too low. "When I open the app, it's to check if everything is within the predefined points." Berker Mart explains. "If we get an alert, we can immediately see what's going on and quickly make changes. This is how we keep the best climate conditions for our crops."

Fertilizer level notifications save 30 minutes a day
In addition to temperature alerts, Açı Fide also gets notifications for fertilizer related tasks. The team receives a message when levels require attention, including when refilling is needed. According to Açı Fide, this reduces routine manual monitoring, with fertilizer checks alone saving a technician around half an hour per day.

For Açı Fide, the value of the app starts with the quality of the measurements behind it. "The equipment we have from Ridder is very precise in measuring.
