US: University of Arizona to host annual Greenhouse Hydroponic Tomato Workshop

The University of Arizona Controlled Environment Agriculture Center is opening registration for its annual Greenhouse Hydroponic Tomato Workshop, offered both online and in person. This three day professional program is built for growers at every level who want to strengthen their skills in greenhouse hydroponic tomato production. Seats for the in person track are limited, which adds urgency for those who want direct, hands on experience.

Participants who attend on site gain access to the UA CEAC Teaching Greenhouse, where they work directly with crops and systems under guided instruction. All attendees, regardless of format, receive lecture materials shaped by more than twenty five years of research, along with time for questions with faculty and a certificate of completion. The workshop is designed to give growers everything they need to master the fundamentals and practical steps of hydroponic tomato production.

The workshop runs Friday through Sunday, January 9, 10, and 11. On site sessions take place from 9 AM to 5 PM, and online sessions run from 9 AM to 12 PM. Each morning from 9 AM to 12 PM, participants join a series of lectures. Those attending in person meet in the CEAC classroom, while online participants join the live sessions through Zoom. Everyone receives a full set of presentation materials.

In person attendees continue each afternoon with hands on instruction in the Teaching Greenhouse from 1 PM to 5 PM. Light morning refreshments and lunch are provided throughout the three day program. Organizers encourage interested growers to review the full schedule and secure their spot.
