Hydroponic greenhouse in the spotlight with 75 tons per 1,000 square meters in summer production

One of the most prominent agricultural production companies in the Turkish city of Konya is revolutionizing soilless agriculture with its Ultra-Climate Tomato Greenhouse. Chemical-free production is made possible by the greenhouse, which is heated by waste hot water. The facility's new goal is 100 tons per 1,000 square meters after breaking a global record with 75 tons. With its innovative Ultra-Climate Tomato Greenhouse Facility in sustainable agriculture, the grower is raising the bar globally.

Production is possible 10 months a year at the state-of-the-art facility in Cumra, which is powered by waste hot water and uses no electricity. The greenhouse allows for entirely natural production without the need for chemicals by using coconut shells for soilless cultivation. Oguz Gumus, manager of the greenhouse, stated, "We broke the world record for summer production with 75 tons per 1,000 square meters, and our goal is 100 tons." The grower's tomatoes are marketed under their own brand and are notable for their superior quality, naturalness, and aroma.
