© Wageningen UR host the renowned Summer School Greenhouse Horticulture. This intensive ten-day programme offers professionals, both early and mid-career as well as specialists, entrepreneurs, investors and scientist from around the world an in-depth exploration of sustainable and high-tech greenhouse cultivation systems.
Participants will dive into key topics such as climate control, crop physiology, water and nutrient management, pest control, and greenhouse design. With a unique combination of lectures by top experts and practical sessions in state-of-the-art greenhouse facilities, the course provides hands-on knowledge applicable to both research and commercial practice.
The programme is ideal for those working in horticultural production, crop consultancy, technology development, input providers or related sectors who seek a deeper understanding of the biological and technological aspects of modern greenhouse horticulture. Basics will be learned to apply directly in your own country and situation, including situations using less technology than is usual in the Netherlands.
