Synthetic fertilizer plant Yara in Sluiskil is the first company in the world to transport CO2 abroad. This week, a ship to transport CO2 to Norway arrived in Sluiskil, Omroep Zeeland shares. In Norway, the CO2 will be pumped into the seabed. Yara in Sluiskil is among the ten plants that emit the most CO2. With this new system, CO2 is no longer emitted, but rather captured.
