German horticulture specialist:

Thomas Bauer on the job at Hortilife

German horticulture specialist Thomas Bauer has joined Hortilife as business development manager. Thomas has a rich horticultural past in the Netherlands and will use his knowledge and experience at Hortilife to support the Dutch horticultural project specialist's international sales team.

In the past, Bauer managed to specialize in specific cultivation systems for international horticulture, where integration with various greenhouse structures and installations played a major role. From this discipline, he has developed in recent years into a horticultural specialist, capable of shaping total projects for growers in all parts of the world. Hortilife refers to him as 'a sparring partner, who together with the client can realize a project based on the very latest techniques'.

Although Bauer is used to realizing projects worldwide, part of his passion lies with horticulture in his home country. This is why he has agreed with Hortilife that he will be the point of contact for existing contacts in German-speaking countries and new clients who come forward. In consultation with a client, he works out the optimal starting points for a total project, which Hortilife's engineers and internal specialists further develop into a clear, practical, and optimal plan. Bauer can be reached at [email protected].

Deventer-based Hortilife develops, produces, and builds complete horticultural projects at home and abroad. The projects are based on the very latest technological developments and the latest insights for the sustainable and efficient cultivation of foodstuffs, ornamental plants, and plants for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
