For the first time ever, BioVerbeek's Jac Verbeek received colored bell peppers as a birthday gift. A premiere moment indeed, one that the organic grower paused to celebrate. Many more peppers are expected to follow this season. However, growers will need to exercise a bit more patience for the real production boost.
