Turkish Alarko Holding is set to invest $650 million in Kazakhstan's agro-industrial complex over the next five years, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
The Ministry organized a conference in Istanbul with more than 50 major Turkish business groups, presenting measures to improve Kazakhstan's investment climate. Joint projects in the agricultural sector and other industries were also discussed.
"Kazakhstan successfully implements an open-door policy for foreign countries, and the country's economy demonstrates stable growth indicators," said Abbas Shahin, Deputy CEO of Alarko Holding.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish companies plan to launch new projects in Kazakhstan between 2024 and 2026, including the construction of greenhouses and others.
Following the conference, the Consul General of Kazakhstan in Istanbul, Nuriddin Amankul, highlighted the further strengthening of relations with Turkish investors.
