Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Governor of Querétaro visit Koppert Mexico

On Tuesday, March 12th, as part of a working tour to Mexico, Geoffrey van Leeuwen, the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, along with Wilfred Mohr, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mexico, and Mauricio Kuri González, the Governor of the State of Queretaro, accompanied by their respective teams, visited Koppert Mexican subsidiary to learn more about the natural solutions they produce.

The Dutch minister's work tour included visits to various governmental agencies, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, non-governmental organizations, and Dutch companies operating in Mexico. With growing pressure on the utilization of natural resources in both the Netherlands and Mexico, Koppert, being a significant player in the sector, was considered a mandatory stop on this tour.

The delegations were warmly welcomed by Alfonso Torres, General Manager of Koppert Mexico, and Rigoberto Bueno, Chairman of the Mexican Board, who hosted the meeting. Following their visit to Koppert, where they learned about the natural enemies of major agricultural pests and the use of natural pollination systems with bumblebees, the delegations attended GreenTech Americas 2024, marking the event's commencement.
