"Which growing media should I choose for my plants?"

What is the difference between PRO-MIX BX and PRO-MIX HP? PRO-MIX BX is considered their general all-purpose growing media. It has a good amount of water retention, and it is a great ‘all around’ transplant growing medium. PRO-MIX HP stands for high porosity, which means it is more permeable to water and air. It has a low water retention. Therefore, it dries out faster than PRO-MIX BX. Nathan Wallace Springer, Horticulture Specialist at PRO-MIX, explains more in the video below.
