Income from the export of fruit and berry products from Ukraine decreased

The income from Ukraine's fruit and berry export has decreased for the first time in 2023. The total revenue declined by 30%, reaching 167 million dollars. The highest sales value among horticultural products includes frozen fruits (98 million dollars), walnuts (37 million dollars), and berries (17 million dollars).

In terms of volume, the export of frozen fruits remained nearly unchanged (64 thousand tons), witnessing a 6% increase in walnuts (around 15 thousand tons) and a 20% growth in berries (almost 5 thousand tons). Meanwhile, the export of apples and pears decreased (27 thousand tons, a 23% decline).
