Solar park next to Tinte greenhouses under construction

In Tinte, the construction of a 13.3-hectare solar park on the Konneweg has started. SolarEnergyWorks is realizing the solar park in collaboration with Energiecoöperatie Voorne Putten Energie. The project should be operational by September 2023.

Zonneweide Tinte, as the park will be called, covers an area of 13.3 hectares and is located in the greenhouse area between Kerkhoekweg and Konneweg. A 10.5-hectare plant will be built here, while the remaining space will be used for landscaping and enhancing the ecological value of the area.

With an expected capacity of about 10.9 MWp, Zonneweide Tinte is estimated to provide about 3,000 households with renewable energy, resulting in a significant CO2 reduction of about 4,400 tonnes. The planning area is characterized by a 380 kV high-voltage line with associated pylons.
