Summer seems to have definitely arrived, and with the long days and lots of sunshine, the Piccolino is doing well. It is a watermelon growing in the greenhouse of Roel de Bakker in Kwintsheul. He has made a vlog in which people can follow what's happening in the greenhouse. It shows how the little watermelons hang and how the bumblebees are "the real hard workers in the greenhouse." De Hollandse Watermeloen hopes to harvest the first ones in a fortnight. Given the enthusiasm of customers, delivery will not be long in coming.
