On April 25-26 of this year, the Association “Greenhouses of Russia” held a meeting in Ulyanovsk for managers and specialists of greenhouse enterprises on the further development and improvement of the competitiveness of covered cultivation in Russia on the topic: “The results of the work of greenhouse enterprises of the Russian Federation for 2022. Development of greenhouse vegetable growing, mushroom growing and floriculture in modern economic conditions”. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Ulyanovsk Region, M.I. Semenkin, Chief Federal Inspector for the Ulyanovsk Region, Y.P. Kulik, Project Manager of the Department of Coordination and Business Development of JSC “Rosagroleasing”, M.N. Petrunin.
During the meeting, the participants visited the Ulyanovsk Thermal Insulation Plant and the greenhouse enterprise JSC “Teplichnoye” in Ulyanovsk.
The meeting was attended by managers and specialists of covered cultivation from 28 federal regions, more than 120 people in total.
The meeting discussed issues of providing greenhouse enterprises with equipment and materials in new economic conditions, such as a new generation of technological equipment, gas-piston power plants based on domestic engines, water treatment systems, control algorithms for hybrid irradiation installations that increase the economic efficiency of greenhouse complexes, improving production efficiency using digital management services and others.
Of particular interest was a visit to the Ulyanovsk Thermal Insulation Plant and JSC “Teplichnoye” in Ulyanovsk, where they got acquainted with the production of cucumber in light culture, strawberries and a biological laboratory.
The warm welcome of the management and specialists of the plant and the greenhouse enterprise made the meeting participants’ stay on Ulyanovsk Land not only useful, but also pleasant.
