The quality of fresh fruits and vegetables in logistics directly affects market prices, and temperature loggers plays an increasingly important role. It is the peak fruit season in the northern hemisphere, and the declining shipping costs in recent months have stimulated the international trade of fruit and vegetables.
With the growth of import and export volumes, the market demand for temperature loggers used in logistics has also rebounded. Beijing Sino-Agricultural Biosciences Co., Ltd. is a temperature logger supplier. The company have now launched the basic METECH disposable USB temperature logger. Siya, the person in charge of the company, gave a detailed introduction to this product and its application fields.
"Currently, the sea freight rate has been significantly lower than before. This has stimulated the sales of our temperature loggers to a certain extent. To better meet the basic needs of customers for cold chain temperature monitoring, we launched the METECH disposable USB temperature logger. The main function of this device is to record the temperature changes of products in cold chain logistics," Siya said.
"The device has a wide range of applications. Our customers include not only traders of fruit and vegetable products such as apples, fresh pears, mangoes, avocados, and stone fruits but also traders of frozen products."
Siya introduced the technical parameters of this product: "This is our basic temperature logger, the temperature range is -30°C to +70°C, and the accuracy is within ±0.5°C/0.9°F. The temperature measurement resolution of the logger can reach 0.01°C/°F. The maximum capacity of this recorder reaches 14,400 pieces of data, and the maximum recording period can reach 120 days." Siya said, "The logger is packaged in a food grade, safe and waterproof package. It is very easy to use. Customers only need to plug the device into the computer, and the PDF temperature report will be generated automatically, without any software or readers."
"For many reasons, the chip market is currently very unstable. The production and supply of some manufacturers have been affected to a certain extent." Siya said. When discussing the impact of the chip shortage and the company's countermeasures, Siya said, "Before the chip shortage problem occurred, we began to discuss counter-measures with suppliers and to increase stocks. Our production and sales have not been affected."
