Aardwarmte Vogelaer involves local residents in drilling plans

On January 18, Aardwarmte Vogelaer organized an environmental consultation for local residents. The geothermal heat project in Poeldijk wants to expand with a second geothermal plant to provide 16 more greenhouse growers with geothermal heat.

Around 20 interested parties were given an explanation of the expansion plans, the planning of the expected work, and what the surrounding area would notice about the construction and drilling activities. Those present were able to ask all their questions and give their reactions.

The first drilling activity is scheduled for March 1. Then, drilling for the conductor will start. On September 1, 2023, drilling will start, which will last for 12 weeks until the end of November 2023.
