Maximizing tomato and vegetable production in grow bags with the Plantlogic drainage collection bases

Rethinking and developing real solutions that help growers reduce water and fertilizer waste, as well as prevent environmental impact caused by drainage. These are the principles at the core of Plantlogic design of two bases that can boost the functionality of  grow bags, the Kratos base, and the Rivus 2-in-1 spacer.

Ideal for growing tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and other vegetables in grow bags, Plantlogic's drainage collection bases provide benefits and savings per linear meter in comparison to other flat spacers and wide gutters in the market, according to the company. Installation is fast and simple and doesn't require complex assembly work or reinforcing gutter walls, which translates into significant savings in money and time in labor.

Spacer + narrow gutter = higher productivity
Did you know that by using spacers and narrow gutter, you can significantly increase the performance of your grow bags? This is mainly due to the height that the base provides to the bags creating an airflow between the bag and the base keeping the roots from coming into contact with drainage and pathogens and providing root aeration. Similarly, height favors excellent drainage and efficient water outflow that minimizes the wet zone at the bottom of the bag, which can cause root rot and diseases.

With respect to drainage collection in the gutter, which allows you to save money by reusing the nutrient solution and excess water, Plantlogic's narrow gutter is cheaper and cleaner (leaves and fruit cannot fall into the narrow gutter). It's also easier to manage, and drainage flows much better than traditional wide gutters. In the end, all these combined favors the development of healthy roots and vigorous plants that can produce more and better-quality fruit.

High efficiency, greater savings, and clean greenhouses with Kratos
Kratos is a growing system that consists of a "V" shaped base with 3.75 in (9.5 cm) height that keeps grow bags and slabs off the ground and a narrow gutter that collects all drainage water under the bags. One of the great advantages of Kratos is that as the spacer is wider than the narrow gutter, the gutter doesn't receive sunlight directly, reducing the dirt buildup and algae formation, keeping the gutter clean for much longer. All these benefits translate into less labor for maintenance and cleaning.

Kratos is more economical than a wide gutter and much easier and more practical to install. Kratos spacers only have to be placed on top of a narrow gutter along the length of the row in your greenhouse. Additionally, unlike other spacers in the market whose legs easily break or their bases collapse with the weight of bags, Kratos is made of high-density polyethylene with UV protection that guarantees a sturdy and durable product that can be reused for several crop cycles.

Rivus has double functionality at the best price
Rivus is a 2-in-1 spacer that works as a base for the bags and as a drainage collection gutter. Its 2.36 in (6 cm) tall platforms keep roots out of the drainage and push drainage to the edges, providing more consistent moisture distribution across the grow bags. Open airflow underneath keeps roots off the ground preventing contact with pathogens.

Rivus main advantage over other bases in the market is its built-in gutter that keeps the floor of your greenhouse free of puddles and allows the reuse of excess water and nutrient solution. Installation is easy and simple; it doesn't require ditches or gravel under slabs.

Rivus costs much less than other plastic and metal gutters and is delivered to the farm in 4-meter (13.12') pieces which overlap one on top of the other to fit any length.
