On September 9, 2022, an online conference called Opportunities for innovative solutions in greenhouse production was held at the site of the ITPP with the participation of the Association Greenhouses of Russia.
Irina Denisova, Executive Director of the Department of Territorial Development, Programs and Projects of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in her opening speech, talked about the high relevance of the conference topic. After all, the task of businesses is to use innovative opportunities to solve the production problems of greenhouses within the framework of import substitution.
"The majority of greenhouse farms face challenges related to the need for import substitution of software and greenhouse equipment," Sergey Sidorov, General Director of the Moskovsky Agro-Combine, said in his speech. Many greenhouse farms operate using non-Russian technologies. However, Russian growers are now looking for manufacturers of special equipment and IT solutions on the domestic market.
Deputy Director General of the Association Greenhouses of Russia Tatiana Kulik, in her speech, thanked the ITPP and GBU KRZ for the opportunity to participate in this conference and confirmed that the raised issues are very relevant today in greenhouses in Russia. Currently, it is essential to attract domestic producers to the agro-industrial complex and the possibility of introducing scientific and technical developments of domestic enterprises in the framework of import substitution at greenhouse plants."
