Adapted tomato cultivation and also 'CHP story' under pressure 'if this continues'

In Sint-Gillis-Waas, tomato grower Tom@ is preparing for a modified crop. Grower Wouter Van Couwenberghe explains to TV Oost that there will be virtually no local tomatoes on the market this winter in Belgium. He also discusses the use of a CHP, which is also under pressure because of shifting gas-electricity price ratios.

At Tom@, a crop was planted in June/July that will still yield a bit of tomatoes this winter, and in November, the grower will start another crop, which will have minimal or no exposure, so it will also yield little.
