260 million RMB is planned as the total investment in Jiangsu Suqian Greenhouse Project

At the construction site of the Jiangsu Mudong Ecological Agricultural S&T Project in Tianwa Village, Caiji Town, Sucheng District, Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, the construction work is in full swing. The workers fight with the high temperature, rushing the schedule, and they are making every effort to push the project construction. "The total investment of the project is 260 million RMB. It will be constructed in two phases. It is planned to build a glass greenhouse of 30,000 square meters, a multi-span greenhouse of nearly 120,000 square meters, a winter-heating solar greenhouse of 200,000 square meters, and an exhibition hall of 5,000 square meters, mainly planting blueberries, kiwi fruit, pitaya fruit, tomato, pepper, broccoli, and other fruits and vegetables." Zhang Fei, the project leader, introduced.

In the grape industry park of Chenji Town, Sucheng District, clusters of crystal clear, round, and fleshy grapes hang on the branches. As a typical representative of ecological and efficient agricultural development in the region, Chenji Grape has grown from more than 13 hectares of grapes to a modern grape industrial park of over 333 hectares.

"The park takes 'Shine Muscat' as the main variety and actively plays the leading role. There are currently 6 major projects, and the development model of 'big base + small owner' is adopted to develop high-standard multi-span greenhouses 73.3 hectares." Xu Ning, deputy mayor of Chenji Town, introduced that in accordance with the concept of "small circulation inside the greenhouse, large circulation outside the greenhouse," ecological recycling technology was implanted into the grape industry. For newly entered major projects, "six-in-one" sensors are used to monitor the growth environment such as temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, and are connected with modern agricultural equipment such as fans, wet pads, and electric film rollers. Using the Internet of Things technology and digital integrated control system to automatically adjust further increase the yield of grapes and improve the quality of agricultural products.
