Robert Sauer (r) has asked the Supervisory Board of Landgard eG for the early termination of his contract. After the set goals of the cooperation have been achieved, the supervisory board agreed to the request in its 08.08.2022 meeting.
As the owner of the management consultancy Weihenstephan, Robert Sauer has advised and accompanied Landgard in many ways in the past. In the spring of 2021, Robert Sauer - in agreement with the supervisory board of the producer organization - agreed to set aside his consulting mandate in his own company in order to take over operational responsibility as a member of the executive board at Landgard.
"The core of my task was the realignment of the business, to align Landgard more closely with the strategic key customers of the food trade. To this end, the nationwide sales and sourcing structure was reshaped, the service concept was individualized and expanded to meet customer needs, and targeted areas were centralized and restructured. This way, targeted branch structures were reshaped and focused on efficiency. I would like to thank Landgard and, in particular, the Supervisory Board for the appreciative cooperation over the past few months and the trust they have placed in me for this responsible task," says Robert Sauer.
Now the company founder is moving back to his home country to devote himself to the consulting business. The Weihenstephan consulting firm is a restructuring and realignment specialist currently facing enormous challenges in the wake of the pandemic and the general economic situation.
The Supervisory Board would like to thank Robert Sauer for the excellent, constructive cooperation over the last two years and wishes him all the best for the future.
