"This collaboration once again brings solutions suited for Canada row crops and horticulture performance"

Valent Canada and Nufarm Agriculture have extended their distribution relationship in Canada for five years. The Valent-Nufarm collaboration has been active in Canada since 2011, providing a growing portfolio of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, plant growth regulators, and seed treatments through Nufarm's established distribution channels, including the introduction of Group 14 herbicide Valtera™ and Groups 14 and 15 herbicide Fierce® for improved control of challenging weeds.

"This extension builds on several successful collaborations between Valent and Nufarm in the US and Canada, as well as parent companies Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd. and Nufarm Limited spanning more than a decade.

"In Canada, Valent's and Nufarm's portfolios combine to offer an important toolset for growers who face increasing pressure to manage weed resistance, gain residual control and realize results through their pest management programs," said Nufarm Canada Country Lead Boyd Bergstrom.

"This collaboration once again brings together two highly complementary businesses to deliver substantial value for customers," said Valent Canada Country Manager Todd Mayhew. "Our mutual strengths in portfolio development and operational excellence enable solutions that are ideally suited for Canada row crops and horticulture performance."

Nufarm will continue to offer a broad portfolio of Valent products registered in Canada for row crops, horticulture, and turf.

"This is an exciting next step as our companies continue working together as leading suppliers and agronomic solutions providers in Canada," said Mayhew. "We look forward to growing the value and innovation we bring to Valent and Nufarm customers for years to come."
