Rijk Zwaan is gearing up for a busy schedule of interesting local and internationally-oriented events in the month of June. In less than four weeks' time, the vegetable breeding company will be presenting its promising new and colorful varieties at its own Hydroponics and Outdoor Demo. In parallel, Rijk Zwaan will be sharing its knowledge and services related to high-tech cultivation at GreenTech in Amsterdam. Simultaneously, the company will be welcoming visitors to their Fruit Crop Pop-up demo.
Hydroponics Leaf Demo in Dinteloord
Rijk Zwaan's Hydroponics leaf demo will take place from 13-24 June in Dinteloord, which is located near Fijnaart. Here, the company will present its colorful living lettuce concept Salatrio® and Salanova®, as well as its fresh-cut salad solution Salanova® Teenleaf. Additionally, Rijk Zwaan will also present a burger leaf variety with a high leaf count of burger-sized leaves. Rijk Zwaan is looking forward to welcoming visitors to the new and inspiring location in Dinteloord for valuable and stimulating discussions regarding existing and new hydroponic projects.
Outdoor Demo in Fijnaart
Simultaneously with the hydroponics demo, Rijk Zwaan is also hosting its outdoor demo. During this demo, its wide range of leafy varieties will be put in the spotlight. Other interesting novelties will include the colorful cauliflower varieties that are part of Rijk Zwaan's Bloom label, plus the Pb Defense varieties, which have strong resistance against clubroot. Visitors are recommended to schedule a meeting in advance for both demos to make sure they don't miss a thing.
GreenTech in Amsterdam
From 14-16 June, Rijk Zwaan will be exhibiting at GreenTech in Amsterdam. Specifically, the company will zoom in on its knowledge of high-tech greenhouse production methods, its specially bred varieties for high-tech cultivation, retail markets, and cooperation within the greenhouse supplier network. During the exhibition, Rijk Zwaan experts will be participating in several panel discussions and on-stage presentations to share insights about the company's high-tech solutions and services. Fruit Crop Pop-up Demo at Ter Laak in Wateringen
Just like last year, Rijk Zwaan is present with a pop-up demo at Ter Laak Orchids in Wateringen. Visitors of the GreenTech are invited to extend their trip and book a visit to one of Rijk Zwaan's demos - the Hydroponic leaf demo or Fruit Crop Pop-up demo at Ter Laak Orchids in Wateringen. The fruit crop demo will run from May until the end of September and showcase various interesting varieties of tomato, cucumber, pepper, and aubergine.
