Natural Growth boosts strawberry crop in yield and sweetness

Trials with the recently introduced plant strengthener Natural Growth are showing consistent improvements in yield and sweetness during a year-round trial of Strawberries.

"Natural Growth, a nature-based product, has shown in strawberries once again its characteristic to create an improved symbiosis between plant-derived root-exudates and substrate-bound microbiology", says Sion Eichmuller with Veni Vitae. "Improved uptake of nutrients and a boost in plant resilience are just a few of the registered results."

"But what is more interesting is the fact that due to the unique characteristic of Natural Growth to dispose and redistribute assimilates, fruits grow out faster and sugar content increases significantly."

Also, loss due to botrytis or mildew decreased significantly. In the 2021 pilot project, no mildew was found in the relevant test, while this was clearly traceable in the control batch.

"A taste panel test initiated by the grower himself clearly indicated that the strawberries treated with Natural Growth had a fuller taste and a higher brix."

Natural Growth is registered on all European Inputlists and can be used in organic as well as non-organic crops.
