Semplice Tre C was founded in 2000 by the Castiglione and Celeste families. Today it is one of the largest cultivation companies of quality tomatoes in southeastern Sicily. In the Acate Valley, cherry, datterino and mini plum tomatoes are grown in greenhouses on 50 hectares.

"The cultivation takes place in greenhouses and allows us to meet an ever-growing demand for fresh and sustainable fruits and vegetables. In 2021, we harvested, packaged and marketed about 6,000 tons of high-quality tomatoes, most of them in Italy. We have exported 15% to Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Romania and Malta. We would like to increase our export volumes even more by focusing on Northern European countries, where the product is marketed based on its total value, consisting of tradition, taste, ethics, healthy characteristics, traceability, reliability and continuous supply," said Concetta and Alice Celeste of Tre C.

"All tomatoes are grown under the careful supervision of Tre C's cultivation managers, which represents a huge guarantee of quality. Our company has GlobalGAP, GRASP and IFS certification," said the Castigliones, who are cousins.
The packing station
Healthy, tasty and above all fresh Tre C follows a strict harvest schedule based on the market demand. All tomatoes are harvested and shipped within twelve hours. This ensures a long shelf life for the tomatoes on the market.
