Dr. Gretchen Pettis transplants to the Pacific Northwest

Dr. Gretchen Pettis will be donning a new hat within BioSafe Systems this year. In tandem with her role as an entomologist, Dr. Pettis will be providing technical support to the Pacific Northwest region of the country. The combination of Dr. Pettis’ scientific knowledge in entomology and extensive familiarity with IPM and biorational solutions will help growers support and navigate everyday operations andbig box stores' sustainability initiatives.

Dr. Gretchen Pettis has already been a critical part of the research and development team educating customers about the biological control of pests and the beneficial uses of other insects to the same end. She’s been a key partner in constructing effective pest control programs across all divisions, especially horticulture, using sustainable bioinsecticide products to protect crops without harmful residues. Her knowledge continues to support BioSafe Systems’ mission as a new Technical Representative to the Pacific Northwest region of the country.
