Montivel Export is one of the companies in the production of all peppers varieties, as well as zucchini (round and long), and other products, such as cucumber, peas, aubergines, watermelons, and avocado. It is based in Berja, Almería, on Mount Montivel, which gives the company its name, and has a handling warehouse of 4,500 m² for vegetables, a 2,000 m² warehouse to handle avocado, and a 600 m² collection warehouse in El Ejido. It has a capacity of 40,000 tons.
81 of its farmers and 243 of its hectares are certified by Global GAP and Grasp certification, and their handling centers have been certified by BRC and IFS certificates.
After a long collaborative relationship with Anecoop, the company has integrated itself as a partner in the Anecoop Group, thus joining the first Spanish fruit and vegetable exporter with more than 845,000 tons marketed in the last campaign.
According to Montivel's CEO, Carmen Martin Robles, "this is the logical step to advance even further in what is already a very satisfactory business relationship on both sides."
