Last week Steenks celebrated the 6th anniversary of the Stefix 135 ground cover floor sweeper at Steenks Service. In 2016, Steenks launched this special floor sweeper at the floriculture trade fair IPM Essen in Germany as a machine with which you can get the MyPex anti-root cloth and other cultivation floors completely clean and dust-free. Since then, the Stefix 135 has been a great success both nationally and internationally.
Sweep up fine dust
Before the Stefix 135 entered the market, it was quite common for employees to clean up fine dust themselves using a leaf blower or broom. Besides the fact that this took a lot of time, it also has the disadvantage that it is not hygienic. This is because some of the dust blown up by the leaf blower or broom settles on the surrounding crops. The Stefix 135 ground cover floor sweeper was therefore a great solution for many growers.
Clean cultivation floors thanks to the Stefix 135
With the ride-on floor sweeper, cultivation floors can be completely dust-free and cleaned, without dust rising and coming down again. The machine is ideal for use on uneven surfaces, such as the MyPex anti-root cloth that is used on cultivation floors. Also, the machine will not damage the ground surface. Besides that the Stefix 135 sweeps up and sucks up fine dust, other dirt is also swept up. For example, think of leftover seeds and other waste that has been left behind on the ground. The Stefix 135 has a cleaning capacity of no less than 10,000 m² per hour, making the machine very suitable for the effective cleaning of large surfaces.
