Seed wall and pumpkins
According to Cheng Chen, a staff member, there are large pumpkins planted in the greenhouse. Each large pumpkin needs enough space for planting. The growth cycle is 7-8 months, and the price can be sold for tens of thousands of RMB. On the left side of the entrance, there is a "seed wall" on which more than 1,000 seeds of crops are placed, all of which are selected by the staff from the market bit by bit.

The reporter saw that the corridor here has a lot of rest places, which are not only sightseeing passages, but also climbing pergolas for solanaceous plants, with densely packed melons and tomatoes.

In the greenhouse, there are many birdcages, with two birds in each of them. Cheng Chen explained that similarly to what used to be done in mines, If pesticides are used here, the birds may die quickly, meaning that their living conditions are a good test of the environment.

Water purification tank

Diffuse glass
The top of the greenhouse is made of special tempered diffuse reflection glass, which can avoid the burning of plants by sunlight in sunny weather. The water purification area is equipped with 3 water tanks, each of which can store 150 cubic meters of water. Rainwater enters the water tank, after purification, through the integrated water and fertilizer system, the crops are irrigated through pipes. According to the growth of crops, it is automatically irrigated by the integrated water and fertilizer system. Water and fertilizer are automatically injected into the pipes twice a day for 10 minutes each time, saving a lot of labor. In this densely planted greenhouse, there is only a few staff. It saves one-third of the manpower than traditional agriculture.

The Jiufeng Agricultural Expo Park covers an area of more than 133 hectares and will be developed in three phases. The currently open first phase of the project grows solanaceous vegetables with a daily market volume of 6,000-10,000 kilograms. Due to the adoption of multi-variety integrated planting methods such as sandy soil cultivation and tree planting, the solanaceous vegetables cultivated here not only taste good but also have more than double the yield compared to traditional cultivation methods.

In the later stage, more agroparks for leisure will be built. In the future, Jiufeng Agriculture will not only achieve an annual production of 75 million kilograms of green and high-quality vegetables and create 1,200 jobs, but will also build a national first-class urban agricultural base in Fengjing integrating planting, picking, leisure sightseeing, science popularization, and research and development. Currently, the local training base has been officially launched to teach growers about planting and breeding, and build the entire upstream and downstream agricultural industry chain.
