On the 1st of January 2022, Managing Director Theo Sanders, of his own accord, will be saying goodbye to Alcomij after 18 years. Theo will pass the baton onto Marco Koese. The company announces Marco will start as Theo’s successor at Alcomij on the 1st of September. Over the coming 4 months, Marco will still be assisted by Theo.
According to Alcomij, Theo Sanders has been at the foundation of many valuable developments and changes the company and the sector went through.

Marco Koese
For the first 16 years of his career, Theo’s successor has developed knowledge and an affinity with greenhouse horticulture. From there, he advanced into working with hardware and has developed a broad knowledge and experience in the field of IT and the digitization of companies.
From 2016 onwards, Koese was responsible for international projects and directing an organization with 190 fte’s at Johnson Controls (Building Solutions).
