Eminent Seeds has added three new employees to the team in the past six months.
Head of breeding
With Carmen Fernández del Pino López, Eminent Seeds has an experienced colleague in the breeding world. She guides the breeding team and is the driving force behind the tomato program. As her last name suggests, her roots are in Spain where she worked for Enza for many years. She was also active in the Netherlands with this renowned breeding company.
Team leader Operations
A new face is active in the Operations department: Frans de Bloois. His position as team leader also has the responsibility of both crops in the breeding departments, seed quality, seed production, and processing. After his education, he worked both in Holland and overseas. Before he started at Eminent Seeds, he worked at Dümmen Orange for 7 years.
Product Manager
A new employee has also joined the Sales department, Frits Verbeek. Frits has been active in different functions within The Greenery for the last 20 years but he realized that it was time for different challenges in his life. He has now found that challenge within Eminent Seeds as Product Manager. He is responsible for the entire chain of seeds which involves the choice of breeding, production, and product-market combinations. His years of experience in market and data analysis are used to make the right choices and optimize processes.
