Dutch health department vaccinates workers on site

On Friday, July 16, a local Dutch health department (GGD Zeeland) vaccinated many international workers. That was in cooperation with Seasun. This greenhouse vegetable cultivation company had approached GGD Zeeland. A group of their international employees wanted to be immunized against COVID-19.

More than 100 jabs
“Our international co-workers had questions about where they could go to get vaccinated. We want to take responsibility in this matter. So, we approached the Zeeland Municipal Health Service. They said they were open to the idea. And they were happy to help," says Jozua Lagendijk, Seasun's MD.

"We're the first company in Zeeland that the GGD has visited to inoculate people. It all went very smoothly. I'm super proud of our employees for taking the step to be vaccinated."

More than 100 Seasun employees got the jab.
