ABN Amro: "Dutch farmers have the lowest environmental impact in the world"

It is not the first time, but that does not make it any less interesting: the claim by ABN Amro that 'Dutch farmers have the lowest environmental impact in the world'. The NOS reports.

According to the bank, per kilo of agricultural product, the collective 'footprint' of CO2, energy, pesticides and antibiotics is the smallest in the Netherlands. Among other things, the reuse of CO2 from industry in greenhouses is mentioned.

In 2017 ABN Amro also made this claim once before in the report 'Agrarisch: circulair van huis uit uit'. At the time, this prompted a lot of discussion.
