In the greenhouse of the CATE (Technical and Economic Action Committee) experimental station, experiments are currently being conducted on a dozen varieties of tomatoes. The goal? To reduce the energy bill of the crop.
Thanks to a dehumidification and air management system, the energy bill of the production in traditional greenhouses can be reduced. Thanks to the humidity, the greenhouse can also reduce the use of chemical products.
More and more clients are contacting CATE, which is currently conducting experiments on 90 varieties of tomatoes including cherry, oxheart, black krim, green zebra and roma tomatoes.
