Crowd investment campaign for hydroponic greenhouse kits

There's a new opportunity for investors with interest in the agricultural industry. The Israeli company TAPKIT hydroponic systems has launched a crowd investment campaign. With over 30 successful installations word-wide, the company wants to upscale their business. "We are already selling on a consistent basis, and it is time now to establish distribution networks, while continuing the development of our mobile app," says Avner Shohet.

It's no wonder the horticultural industry is hot for investors. Offering a durable and sustainable solution for a global problem - the need for safely grown food - it's an industry offering interesting growth and investment opportunities. One of the companies fitting in this profile is TAPKIT hydroponic systems. Their product, the Tapkit, enables small and medium farmers, as a "Farm to table" solution, to grow their own herbs and leafy greens, in a safe and clean hydroponic environment, with an eco-friendly advanced technological production system.

Over the last couple of years over 30 paying customers were installed, both in Israel and around the world. All clients are already selling in their markets, offering high-quality hydroponic fresh herbs.

"Our business model is based on distribution by regional distributors," Avner explains. "A successful distributor is already selling in the Philippines."  Now that their concept is proven by over 30 successful growers, they are ready to add more distributors. "The purpose of this round is to establish a network of distributors around the world."

And there's more. The Tapkit comes with a designated app (i-Droponics), which supports the user through the installation, up to planting, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The raised money will be used for the further development of the app. Finally, the money will be used to develop other models of the Tapkit. "Tapkit has 3 models for different climate conditions. By expanding our models, we can also expand our market."
