Berg Hortimotive has always aimed to be a frontline player in the field of horticultural innovation. With the parting Chairman of the Board Bas Lagerwerf, former CEO of Berg Hortimotive, there were two vacancies to be filled.
Martin Steentjes
Martin Steentjes, director of Van der Hoeven Horticultural Projects B.V., has been appointed as the new chairman of the board. Steentjes has been closely involved with the foundation since its inception: “Innovation within the sector is the key to success and we can expand internationally thanks to the Hortivation foundation,” he explains.
Marco van der Velden
In addition to the appointment of the new chairman, the composition of the board has changed even more. To keep continuing the horticultural innovation of the Berg Hortimotive Group as part of Hortivation, Marco van der Velden, CEO of Berg Hortimotive Group has joined the board. Van der Velden explains: ”We aim high in our innovation strategy and believe that we can therefore contribute to the targets set by Hortivation”.
