Starting from the 1st of February, the painting process of the motor gearboxes of De Gier Systems has been adjusted. Ever since, motor gearboxes out of the GW range will be spray-painted with a water based environmental friendly paint. "This will bring us a lot of advantages besides the environmental aspect," the team with De Gier says.
"It will create a safer and more pleasant work location for our colleagues that apply the paint. This paint will also increase the corrosion resistance of our drives and it will reduce the drying time with more then 65%! So ultimately this innovation will give us a faster, safer and healthier production process."
