The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan, Mr. Abzagir Guseynov, has recently conducted a meeting with the management of the agricultural holding Eco-kultura, where they discussed the perspectives of contemporary greenhouse construction with an acreage of 200 ha on the territory of the Republic.
In his letter to the Head of Dagestan, Mr. Vladimir Vasilyev, the president of the agricultural holding, has expressed the desire to carry out a major investment project on the territory of the Republic. The project will be carried out in four phases, 50 ha each with an overall budget up to 345 million euro.
Dagestan is an interesting location for the investor due to a significant amount of sunny days per year, accessibility of sufficient workforce and a warm climate, allowing a decrease in expenses on heating significantly.
Mr. Abzagir Guseynov thanked the investor for the interest in the Republic, noted the exceptional value of such a project for the economic and social development of the region and expressed his intention to provide all the needed support for carrying out the investment project.
The representatives of the investor accompanied by the Minister of the Agriculture of the Republic visited several regions in order to work out the issues of land plot allocation, study energy sufficiency, infrastructure and other related matters.
