'Domino Day' in a greenhouse in Kazakhstan

With a bit of imagination, the movie clip below could be about Domino Day. Yet it is about the sowing of 100,000 seeds to fill the Ultra-Clima greenhouse of FoodVentures in Kazakhstan. A remarkable image, which invokes reactions such as: "Couldn't that be done automatically?"

That is possible, of course, but when making a cost-profit analysis, the choice (for now) was made for manual sowing. Dirk Aleven, FoodVentures on LinkedIn: "There is a right time for everything".

Moreover, the greenhouse is certainly not 'old-fashioned'. The Ultra-Clima concept is high-tech and this keeps the greenhouse cool at the moment, in spite of an outside temperature of 36 degrees Celsius.
