The head of Iran's horticultural research institute, Shokrolla Haji-vand, said that in the field of vegetables and summer seeds, which are considered to be within the production jumping projects, the Horticultural Sciences Research Institute has been working to create hybrid seeds of tomatoes and peppers for many years. Its production has been piloted in Jiroft and Karaj. "The first 37 cores are made from garden products that are transferred to the screen house to enter the world trade figures, during a program. Last year, we handed over 140 varieties of horticultural products to weaving companies and four varieties of walnuts, and two varieties of jujube to the private sector."
Haji-vand acknowledged the use of green water and low-water plants for the year 2020. He then added: "Construction of low-water orchards in the pilot areas proposed by the provinces is on our agenda."
