Controlled environment production for safe consumption

In the 17th Indoor Ag Science Cafe forum on March 10th, 2020, Paul Lightfoot of Bright Farms spoke about his views on food safety. The Indoor Ag Science Cafe is an online monthly forum series in which the science and technologies that can contribute to indoor controlled environment agriculture can be discussed.

Bright Farms feels that food safety is not guaranteed nowadays and wants to change that with their salads grown in controlled environment greenhouses in Illinois, Ohio, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
