Walking around at the HortEx show that is organised in Ho Chi Minh City this week, it becomes clear that the Vietnamese industry is diverse. Whereas for some growers starting to work with hydroponic growing and ventilation is a novelty, there are also farms that work with automated equipment and focus on further automation.
The HortEx is being organized for the third time this year, and over the last couple of years various international suppliers have been looking for ways to help growers and start doing business here. The diversity of the industry is something they have to deal with: either you adjust your product to fit the market, or you will focus on a niche in the market.
At the show both suppliers are present, and the diversity of greenhouse builders is an example of that. Tomorrow we’ll update you on the final day of the show and on Monday we’ll supply you with a full photo report.
