The Tomato Day party was held on February 22 in Almería and served to value the flagship product of the province.
Throughout Saturday morning, the Paseo de Almería gathered thousands of people who enjoyed this fair in its sixth edition.
There were activities for all audiences, such as exhibitions, tastings of products, sale of tomatoes for solidarity, music or tributes to different personalities and companies. Watch the video below to get a taste of the event.
The event was organized by La Voz de Almería and Cadena SER in collaboration with the Almería City Council, the provincial Council, the Junta de Andalucía and Cajamar.
This activity has had a charitable character, with a healthy breakfast and tastings of gazpacho by well known chefs in the province, whose benefits have been allocated to ASALSIDO, the Association Children with Disabilities (ANDA) and the Red Cross.
